During a radio interview Sunday, Juanita Broaddrick revealed a shocking new detail about her history with Bill Clinton.
She says that within a few weeks after Clinton allegedly raped her, he started to call her repeatedly with the aim of meeting again.
"I was shocked to say the least that he would have the audacity to call me after what he did to me," Broaddrick said, speaking on "Aaron Klein Investigative Radio," the popular Sunday night radio program.
She said that just a few weeks after the 1978 alleged sexual assault, "He called the nursing home that I owned and they patched the call through to my office and I didn't know that it was him. And he immediately said, 'Hi, this is Bill Clinton. I was just wondering when you were coming back to Little Rock again.'
"This just caught me so off guard. I had not expected anything like this at all. And I told him I would not be coming back to Little Rock again and definitely would not ever be seeing him again. And I hung up."
But that wasn't the end of it. Broaddrick told Klein that Clinton, at the time the attorney general of Arkansas and candidate for governor, called the nursing home where she worked on numerous occasions throughout the next six months.
And you would think that would have been the end of it. But it wasn't. About two or three weeks later, I was in a meeting and my administrator came into the meeting and she said, "You are wanted on the phone." And she said it was Mr. Clinton. And I told her, I said, "please tell him I'm not here." She wasn't aware of what had happened to me. Nor were the nurses.

in order for it to seem consentual, the rapist had to establish that there were no hard feelings... six phone calls after the fact, in his mind, shows they were cordial.
Why would she wait this long to say this?
You stole my thunder. In bill clinton’s mind it was consensual, showing that he lies even to himself.
Imagine 1000 Clintons in Germany during the new year.
That and also to begin to establish in the minds of others (her office staff) that she was “trailer trash”...
Her staff did not know what was going on...but he put those seeds in their minds via his one way calls. Mission Accomplished.........
I do believe her account of the rape. But I have one question. Why would she even attend a Clinton fund raiser three weeks after Bubba violated her? If she went with the intent of confronting him that would be understandable. She, however, does not mention that as a reason for attending. (It’s just one of those details that in the movies makes Columbo scratch his head)
good point... in any case... the clintons are bad for america...
It was my understanding that it was her job, working for the campaign.
OK. Thanks. Now it makes a little more sense.
I’ve seen that picture numerous times here on FR.... Any idea of whether it was before or after the rape? I can’t imagine that Broaddrick would want to be caught dead in the same photo as slick willy after the rape but one wonders...
Because she owned that Nursing Home and was regulated by the state, meaning Clinton.
Sometimes people react out of character or irrationally to bad experiences.
Now that makes sense, if she gets out of line, Clinton would close the nursing home.
Why would she wait this long to say this?...I believe this was revealed long ago, but never put in the spotlight. I had to look for the article date.
She probably wanted to put it behind her. Now that Hillary looks to be the next president she’ll do what she can to doom that couple.
This even makes her more believable. Everyone knows that after you are sexually assaulted or just harrassed you NEVER want to see the person again. It’s petrifying. And intimidating. How do I know? It’s happened to me. It’s why I never believed Anita Hill.
I remember her saying this at the time.. that he called her.
Thanks.
