U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv
The U.S. Embassy in Israel is currently in Tel Aviv. Cruz wants to move it to Jerusalem, Israel's "once and eternal" capital.
Commerce Department
In a piece for the National Review, Cruz said shuttering the department would "close the congressional cookie jar" and promote free trade.
Education Department
Another standard line from Cruz: "U.S. Department of Education, which should be abolished." Cruz is a states' rights guy -- he wrote his college thesis on the 10th Amendment -- and wants to give control of schools to states or localities....
Energy Department
Cruz has said the country needs an "energy renaissance." .... The Energy Department is one of five agencies Cruz wants to close. Cruz said that shuttering them, along with four other changes including freezing the hiring of civilian government employees, would save the country $500 billion.
Department of Housing and Urban Development
Cruz would scrap many programs and reform those that would remain, including Section 8 housing,...
Internal Revenue Service
In his usual speech, Cruz states that he wants to "abolish the IRS." The reason? The agency, in his estimation, is a symbol of bloated Washington bureaucracy....
Iran nuclear deal
Cruz has called the threat of a nuclear Iran the greatest national security danger to the United States. He has pledged that he would "rip to shreds" the deal on his first day in office....
Islamic State
Cruz has said he wants to "utterly destroy" the terrorist organization,...
Obamacare
...Cruz tells audiences that he wants to "repeal every word" of the law and that "we'll pass common-sense health-care reform that makes health insurance personal and portable and affordable and keeps government from getting in between us and our doctors."
President Obama's executive orders
"The first thing I intend to do is rescind every single illegal and unconstitutional executive action taken by this president,"...

I’m sure Trump has never taken a loan from NY banks... I mean, it’s not like he is in the NY real estate industry or anything like that...
Hey ... I have an idea.
We could have an agency created solely to look after nuclear weapons and nuclear materials processing. We could call it the "Atomic Energy Commission".
Next you’ll hear that Trump invented the internet too.
And the problem is???
Yep,
CAn’t say anything bad there.
Go Cruz
Nothing on the list about âloansâ fron NY Values bankers like Goldman Sachs and Citibank.Would it make you feel better if Cruz declared bankruptcy a bunch of times? Would that make him more to your liking?
lol. He is an egomaniac with 30% or so in the polls. Go figure.
There is a candidate that promises to reduce the size of government and fight tyranny, but there is another that promises to use the size of government to become a benevolent tyrant to make America Great - which vision do you trust?

Very well said.
I trust the one who knows the constitution, the one who has studied and lived by conservative principles his entire life. We are lucky to have him.
I have none of the blind trust some have for DT.
Sorry, I was being sarcastic on my first post and my tag line was missing. I switched back to an old one.
If we return to constitutional republic, 99% of this country’s problems are solved. Honestly, I have never heard Trump pay so much as lip service to the Constitution.
Sounds great to me!
Reads like an endorsement of Ted to me?
In the flurry to tear down all these monstrosities, Cruz then needs to work with congress to limit the overreaching powers of the presidency, so that the next time a Democrat or RINO is elected, they cannot pull the same stunts that Obama and so many other presidents pulled.
That is, Cruz needs to nail that coffin shut, so that Dracula cannot re-emerge.
Probably the best way of starting this would be a State Lands Restoration Act. Except for Military Bases and Indian Reservations, and perhaps a few “crown jewel” federal parks, the rest is returned to the states. Then any future federal land grab needs to be under an extended process, which cannot be done unilaterally by the president, congress, or the courts.
But there is so much more. The Presidential Signing Statement is a constitutional abomination, so must be clearly outlawed. The same with “Czars”. And there needs to be a resurrection of the War Powers and Posse Comitatus Acts. And clear rules to recess appointments and executive privilege.
If someone demonstrates contempt of congress, it should automatically mean six months in jail, then with their return to be offered a chance for another six months. For a federal employee to invoke the 5th Amendment should mean their automatic termination as an employee, plus a loss of all pay and benefits due, plus a bar to future employment by the government or any business that has a federal contract.
Next up, punish the Democrats by *keeping* Operation Choke Point, that coerces banks to not loan money or provide banking services to businesses that the administration dislikes, like gun dealers. But to change the list so that leftist organizations are now blocked from banking services. Several hundred of them, like Planned Parenthood and the infamous NGOs, like the SPLC.
5 will get you 10 that if Cruz is becomes POTUS, none of those things will happen. Or if he does and they do, then we will all win the Powerball Lottery ...
Damn that’s an impressive list. Go Cruz!
Congress will never let this power go, no matter who is elected.
Well just wait until the Masturbation Stations catch on with their laptops and curtains to help relieve the stress brought on from living in the city. The mayor of New York knows his constituents.
Congress already has the power to undo all this, the question you have to ask is why haven't they?
Bwahaha! I see what you did there.....
