How can someone so “conservative” take money from gays and then turn around and bash their “values.”

They freely donated their money to his campaign. He didn’t compromise his principle and wasn’t bought. You would rather he support faggot marriage?

Whether he supports gay marriage or not isn’t the point. He specifically mentioned homosexual marriage when referring to his NY values, and this, after taking money from the gays. He’s a hypocrite and you know it - admit it. He took their filthy lucre, but then turned around and stabbed them in the back. You can’t have it both ways.

So...there are enough conservatives in NYC to block DeBlasio, but y’all just couldn’t be bothered?

Peddle THAT somewhere else!

I am not a Cruz supporter, although I may vote for him. Never for the foul mouthed Trump.

Apparently now the 11th Commandment only applies to Cruz: THOU SHALL NOT ATTACK TED CRUZ. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. What a bunch of bedwetters Team Cruz is.

I didn’t listen to his show today. I’m not sure where he stands, but I know where Rush sits when it comes to endorsing primary candidates: The fence. Right beside Mark Levin.

Rush severely criticized Nikki Haley’s anti-Trump remarks the other day and is usually found defending, or more correctly, pointing out or expanding on where Trump is right.

I think tomorrow’s show will find Rush explaining his perceived anti-Trump/pro-Cruz quotes used everywhere on the MSM today.

Rush better be clear and precise in his position. His credibility depends on it.

I very much see it the same way... GOP-establishment thought Trump was wacko when he first declared his candidacy, but now they see the following he has, so they will try and use him to destroy Ted Cruz - the one candidate they cannot stomach.

They will then try and unite the rest of the Republican Party behind Marco or Jeb (or maybe even Kasich or Christie) - whoever can "surprise" and do well in either Iowa or New Hampshire.

And if their efforts to rally 1 candidate to defeat Trump then they will do whatever underhanded means they have to to try and stop him (possible brokered convention, etc...)

Life will be so much better if Cruz can win big in Iowa, use the momentum to surge to a shocking win in New Hampshire, and then win in South Carolina and propel himself to the GOP-nomination.

So how many businesses did Cruz build? Seems he has worked for the gummit his entire life while Trump has been in business his.

Some would rather have a businessman then a civil servant who is in bed with Goldman Suchs.

Rush’s credibility was established years ago when he gave Jughead a pass.

He cares more about keeping his show and flying around in his Gulfstream than he does about obama’s pedigree..our country has paid a steep price in allowing obama to “govern” our nation.
Rush, Levin and all the rest could have taken it to the dems every day..Oh, now they want to talk about eligibility..what a group of pandering pansies they are.

A few months before the primaries began, here in Texas there was rumor that Ted Cruz would run for POTUS. The establishment began to formulate a plan to derail Cruz.

I told the folks at work...watch what happens, the establishment will flood the primary field with liberal/moderate candidate to marginalize the conservative in the race.

Guess what? The GOP flooded the field with liberal/moderate candidates. Would not be at all surprised if we see a brokered convention in an effort to place an establishment RINO.

I suppose it never occurred to you that the faggots may have donated because of other issues they are in agreement with Cruz on. They are free to donate to whomever they believe to be the best overall candidate for the country even if they know of Cruz’ position on faggot rights. That person, obviously, was Cruz.

Who on planet earth did not know Cruz’ stance on gay marriage? No one!

Frankly, I’m sick of all of them snipping at each other. Why not discuss the ISSUES? I haven’t paid that much attention to the race at all, so I have no clue for whom I will vote. I’ll check them out before the MA primary, because the pack will have been thinned out, by then.

The pertinent fact is that the communist won with an overwhelming percentage. If there were conservatives present in any numbers in NYC, he would not.

NYC values - tax, regulate, control. Hillary. Schumer. And looking down at the rest of the country.

Then bluster about it.

Whenever a Republican or conservative attacks a fellow Republican or conservative using the same language or the same approach that Democrats and liberals would, that's a huge red flag.

Always has been.

Rush was similarly critical of Newt Gingrich when he went after Romney using the Democrats' playbook.

This cannot help Trump, but it could really help Cruz.

Cruz damn sure ain’t a principled conservative. He slams NY City for being too liberal but holds his hands out for money. Here’s another fag millionare who gave him mega bucks. Is there anybody he won’t ask for money.

>> Considering that Trump is a progressive, it’s discouraging that Rush doesn’t treat him like every other progressive.<<

I think Rush sees the value Trump brings to the race. After all, he’s drawing thousands of disaffected Dems and former Perot voters into the fold. It’s just a short hop from supporting Trump to supporting Cruz, or even Rubio, for those folks, should Trump finally falter.

Trump is showing what it takes to get through the media’s PC barricades and connect with the public, much as Reagan was able to do in his time.

The problem with Trump is, as you stated, he’s no conservative. But he is bringing some value to the race, nonetheless. It will be interesting to see how he reacts should he come in second in Iowa, as he could once voters really start examining his past positions and realize the degree to which he claims to have changed. One thing most conservatives expect is consistency, and consistency is not exactly Mr. Trump’s middle name.
