I had to turn off Levin tonight due to a slight ear ache.
Levin came back from his vacation a different person. He use to make me laugh.
He evidently cannot understand how a primary battle works. Trump has single-handedly set the agenda, has let his views be made known, and is out to stop any opponents. He knows what he is doing. Levin is afraid that Trump will stop his favorite, his pet, Cruz, who he drools over as a stellar conservative.
Remember how Levin was outraged over the Corker bill? Said it was a monstrosity? Cruz, the stellar conservative, voted for the Corker bill. Cruz worked with Paul Ryan to roll out the TPA bill.
Levin is flat out deceptive about Cruz trying to plant a “poison pill” into the Gang of Eight bill. Cruz accused OBAMA of placing a poison pill into the Gang of Eight bill. AFTER Cruz’s amendments that he now claims were a poison pill were voted down, Cruz came out the next day and talked about how much he wanted to pass a comprehensive immigration plan.
I noticed Rush did a time line about that and he did mention that Cruz came out for a comprehensive immigration plane with things in it that contradict his claims now (I forget exactly how he portrayed it), but he slipped it in and moved on hoping no one would notice what he said. At least he was honest by the letter. Levin doesn’t even try.
