“There’s only one man in the race who’s even remotely capable of doing that, and it’s Donald Trump.”

It was a simple query, no emotion involved, I just couldn’t make sense of your comments about Limbaugh/Levin being “purely partisan”. They have been very much on the record as being conservative before being Republican,,, the same is true of Cruz who has demonstrated this at much professional cost. I understand that Trump has a sledgehammer, I’m just afraid he doesn’t know where to aim. Cruz does.

And that’s our conundrum, one candidate has the demonstrated willingness and intelligence while the other has captured populist support.

I have no disagreement with that, but I think you're still missing the crux of what I said earlier.

America is in an existential crisis. There are perhaps three issues of national import that will doom this nation to utter failure and dissolution, if not competently and correctly handled over the course of the next administration.

Politics and political ideology will certainly have an impact on the effectiveness of the next President's actions while in office, but they are of secondary importance to actually doing what's required to rescue the nation from certain destruction.

Do I think a conservative/Republican will do a better job of executing the vital life saving functions I speak of? Yes. Do I think a liberal/Democrat would do just the opposite, and actually reinforce and double down on the failed Socialist policies that got us here in the first place? Without a doubt.

My point is, none of that is of paramount importance. What the next Commander In Chief actually decides to DO about our structural problems is all that matters, be they Republican, Democrat, Independent, Green, Constitution, Libertarian, or Pastafarian.

I'm saying that the country's issues require a non-political approach. An approach that casts aside politics, in favor of simple common sense survival solutions.

It's those things that our favorite talkers are ignoring, in my estimation. Listening to them talking about political solutions just drives me up the wall. They're stuck in a paradigm that is out of step and out of place for the situation the nation is in, in the current moment.

As I said before, we're in a pre-revolutionary state. It won't take much more pressure for the thing to snap.
