Cruz has always pushed for a phase out. So those businesses would have some transition time.
Ted Cruz must remember this one as well:
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4......
Trump would know this as One John 4:4.....true, it's true.
Well, he probably works out.
I wish I was getting paid to post. Would you be interested in paying me?
Thank you PLMerite: I am enjoying myself.
“Someone once told me that the CEO of Archer Daniels Midland is more powerful than the president of the United States.”
Why not, they and Monsanto own politicians on both sides and the Obama administration. From Hillary to Liz Cheney’s husband Phil Perry who was Monsanto’s lead lawyer.

Bill Nye now agrees with Ted Cruz that GMOs are good things

I’m only speaking from experience in having a small marine outboard that runs on propane. It can plug into the 20lb grill bottles, but I mainly use the 1lb green Coleman-type camping bottles. The lack of ethanol gumming up the carb is a big sellingvpoint. Works great so far - I have about 50 hours over the course of a season and a half.
I’ve seen the same company manufactured mowers and trimmers, but they didn’t catch on. Now they’re focusing on conversion kits in addition to the marine outboards.
With the amount of popcorn FReepers are always popping, I’m surprised they need subsidies for ethanol.
Ah, not that ethanol is a net loser for America, or that it drives the cost of all American’s food bills up, or that it pollutes more in the long run, or any other TRUE things about ethanol that led Ted Cruz to objecting to federal subsidies...
Instead, some Governor says he must be defeated because the subsidies are good for him! I pray that Iowans are smarter than their governor.
I know what you mean.
I burned up a chainsaw because of it.
Replacement cost me about $800-$900.
If we are going to compare statements in 2011 with today, should we start comparing all of Trump's previous statements with today as well? We are constantly told that Trump has "changed" so it is dishonest to point out his past statements. But Trump supporters feel free to do that with everyone else, particularly Cruz, and will slap the "flip-flopper" label on anyone who has changed a position in the slightest - except for Trump, of course. Cruz can change from a conservative position to an even MORE conservative position, and he is a flip-flopper; Trump can change from very liberal positions to somewhat conservative positions, and he is suddenly a "real conservative".
Oh, c’mon. Cruz, with the full force of his deep knowledge of the Constitution, said in 2011 that birthright citizenship is in the Constitution, so the only way to stop it is to keep people out of the US. (I guess that means all of his H1B workers couldn’t give birth while they’re here). The statement this summer says “end birthright citizenship”, but he never mentioned that according to his beliefs it would take a Constitutional amendment. Cruz can’t make turn arounds like that. Either he is a Constitutional scholar or he isn’t.
We can still buy 91 and 93 octane straight premium in Missouri.
In the new era of almost universal crop insurance, the subsidies aren’t needed anyway. If Iowa wasn’t such a early decider of elections, it would have been gone years ago.
This doesn’t spell anything for Cruz, especially if Brandstad is an establishment figurehead.
rrrrrggghhhhhh.
GOPe feels Trump Sister and Tribe will make great appointments to Supreme Court?
This is big. Branstad is an icon there. Longest serving governor in US history. Tricky Teddy will be lucky to hit 10% in Iowa now.
