Ethanol is crap for a number of reasons. Speaking as a guy who paid $300 for towing and repairs on my 2004 Sonata due to ethanol.
Growing anything on our farmland to produce ethanol is a horrible choice. Oil is cheap and essentially unlimited.
My 2014 Jeep owners manual clearly states no more than 10% ethanol.
The EPA and apparently Trump doesn’t care.
Well, I definitely don’t agree with Trump on this. I’ll have to listen to the actual statement, but on the face of it, I don’t support it. We always knew Trump wasn’t perfect. It’s still the same decision it’s always been - a choice between imperfect candidates.
Give me ethanol or give me death! Just don’t put it in my gas tank, thank you.
If Congress is the stupid authority that ordered it, the EPA needs to do it.
However, it should be eliminated and the EPA abolished.

It's called politics. He has to beat the Republican competition to advance to the finals. If your complaint is about principles, you should be directing it at those who benefit from ethanol production, the Iowan farmers. You can stand on principle all you want, but the pragmatic Politian will weigh principles against vices. Ethanol may be a dumb environmental idea, but it fits the Trump message made in America by people who work. My take, he wants to win Iowa and doesn't care a rat's ass about ethanol.
I’m with you. If I remember correctly 15% ethanol which is what the EPA wanted, the big 3 car cos. said it would void their warranties. If this is true than none of this makes a bit of sense. Trump hasn’t been elected and already following Zero’s lead? Beginning to look less promising.
Dunno by you, but up here Conoco/BP has no ethanol in their Premium... That's what I use all the time... better performance, more miles per tank... Don't know why anyone would burn Regular/Super.
This should seriously finish him as a credible candidate. But it won’t.
