I have been looking the other way on Sarah Palin for a long, long time.
I respect what she accomplished in Alaska, and I think the country would have been much better off is she had been part of the winning ticket in 2008.
But since she left office, it has been a long, inexorable slide into celebrity nonsense. This endorsement of Donald Trump is the last straw. Her “celebrity†status has been eclipsing her ideology more and more over the years, and with this endorsement, the process is complete. She has become the Kim Kardashian of American Politics.
Goodbye Barracuda! It was nice while it lasted!
From the comments here it shows that she still throws fear into the hearts and minds of her opponents. That wouldn’t still happen if she has become the “Kim Kardashian of American Politics”.
