According to press releases issued by the Trump campaign, Palin was supposed to spend today (and the next several days) criss-crossing Iowa with Donald Trump, stumping for him. However, at the rally Trump held this morning, Palin was absent with no explanation from the Trump camp. Instead, Trump just took the stage for a little longer than planned.
The media inquired about Palin's absence and were basically given "no comment" in response.

Since Palin did not show up today with Trump as advertised, she is likely headed home to deal with the Track problem. I recall some time ago when the family was at a party and some of them were in a physical fight with someone or someones, and the family member(s) were drunk. I believe her daughter, who now has another child out of wedlock, was in that fight.
It appears to me alcohol is a problem with the family as every time there is a problem, there is alcohol in the mix.

The comments there were brutal. A lot of people, like me, I unliked her site and let her know why.
This was a very bad career move. The woman who popularized the term Crony Capitalist has aligned herself with the man who turned a Crony Capitalism into an art form.
With trump coming out now and saying that Cruz is worse than Hillary, the bridge that all the Trump/Cruz fence sitters have been sitting on has been blown up.
It’s time to make a choice. Trump-the antidisestablishmentarianist, or Cruz, the disestablishmentarian.
The establishment candidate in this race is a Trump. He says all the things that tickle people’s ears but he means none of them.

Palin isn’t backstabbing. She is allowed to choose who she wants, and she is allowed to change her mind. I am a decent person and a constitutional conservative. I changed my mind from Cruz to Trump. I don’t disrespect people who make those decisions.
I would bet Trump was taken aback at her performance and he surely knows about the son being drunk and assaulting his girl friend and threatening to kill himself with a weapon he had out. That is not Palin’s fault but it is out there today and does not help Trump to be associated with that.
Trump has to know this is not good for his image and she was a mess giving that speech, and she is being dumped on today by the general press. I would not be surprised if he, very soon, dumps Palin from his gatherings. I would if I were him or Cruz or anyone who gets her endorsement and then she makes a speech like that.
I dare say she has gotten worse. Her folksy accent did not bother me in 08 or since, and I was fired up when seeing her live outside back then.
Her voice has gotten shaky and breaky. If it’s menopause I’d advise her to take bioidential hormones, maybe it would settle down. And I would ask her to definitely work with a vocal coach to not press so hard on the cords just because she wants to show emphasis and passion. There are ways to strengthen muscles and make your voice influential but strong. She needs to not squeak into the higher notes. She could kill a string of huskies.
This from someone who saw Sarah (indoors) with Breitbart, just her talking in a straight voice, and came to the conclusion that she is the real deal. I really have liked her, though was angry that she didn’t run in 2012.
She just needs a little focus and work.

I was listening to the radio when she was speaking and they were saying Trump had an unpleasant look on his face when she got real screechy. He has access to the best vocal care, she needs to get some.
You obviously didn’t watch the speech or Trump’s reaction. He was obviously ELATED with her speech. He loved it and so did the audience. She is right...heads are spinning. The long knives are out to fool the uninformed.
She is on her way to Tulsa with Trump AS PLANNED. There was no rally in Iowa this morning.
The misinformation and all out lies in order to trash Palin/Trump are insane.

I don’t believe that she is a patriot. I did once, years ago. But the more she and her family did, the less I did. I don’t believe she’s in it for what’s best for America, I think she’s in it for what’s best for her pocketbook.
It’s not about Cruz, it’s that I do not want a touch-back amnesty supporting, ok with radical pro-abortion judges on the Supreme Court, ok with Kelo, Deblasio supporting progressive as the President.

Cruz was not fighting in the ‘14 senatorial elections, either. Why? Because he was building the Establishment infrastructure, by ingratiating himself to the McConnell/NRSC/RNC dirty tricks machine.
He offered not a peep of vocal support, financial support, nor moral support to a single conservative candidate, who were fighting the Establishment to even stay afloat with their campaigns, under fire from Establishment forces. Think Matt Bevin.
Then we find out, at theconserativetreehouse, that Cruz served in leadership on the NRSC, during that election cycle, and gave the Committee $250,000.00. To serve on that committee, Cruz had keep silent on candidates and give cash contributions to reelect establishment incumbents.
That money had to go into the kitty, and pump out the MISSISSIPPI TREATEMENT against Matt Bevin in MS. Bevin was a deeply conservative TP candidate who was leading that race, surging against Thad Cochran.
That money had to fund the dirty tricks operation of the Establishment against Bevins, in order to reelect their mule for the Establishment, Thad Cochran.
That is a new revelation that Cruz gave that kind of money, and that it had to go toward cutting the legs out from under Bevins, by funding the Haley Barbour machine in MS, who took to black Democrat radio stations for pumping out lies and smears against him, and into black neighborhoods to hang fliers out against him, and to galvanize cross over voting.
What a nasty disaster against Bevins, who of course, was taken out, after fighting the ballot count for weeks.
Cruz was redeeming himself. There was no great damn given about helping other conservatives survive the machine he was serving.
LOL. Your concern is duly noted and for you to even dare to write publicly that you “wonder if she was under the influence of alcohol” is truly beneath you. Sarah Palin and Donald Trump are close friends. She is well aware that he doesn’t drink. There is no way she would disrespect him or embarrass herself, by showing up “under the influence of alcohol.” Sheeeesh!
I will only add, that he was delighted to see her and delighted by her speech.

I watched every word she said and saw Trump’s face constantly and he was stoic too much of the time. What I saw from him was concern.
I stick with what I said. I do not think he will continue to have her with him. He is mega sensitive to publicity and surely does not like what has come out today.

Or maybe she watched a reply of the CNN Palin love fest. It was an hour long Trump infomercial. After they were so even handed in treating Palin I think Trump is going to have to stop complaining about the media.
I’m very sorry to hear all of that. Some have said Palin was on her way to OK today. Dunno, but I believe this stuff is weighing on her heart.
The devil doesn’t attack his own - he’s already got them. I pray for the Palin family, that they will stand in faith and in the redemption of Jesus Christ and his blood by which they overcome the devil and obtain their precious promises from God. May she and her family rest in the peace and victory of the Lord Jesus that is already theirs.
