Defense Secretary Ash Carter is reportedly considering retroactively demoting retired General David Petraeus, amid a crackdown on generals who engage in misconduct.
The Daily Beast reported Tuesday that the Pentagon is in the process of considering the move against Petraeus, who admitted giving classified information to his mistress and biographer before he retired.
The decision now rests with Carter, who is said to be mulling overruling a prior Army recommendation that the general should not be demoted.

What about Hillary?
Carter does not have any jurisdiction over Hillary. He is in charge of the armed forces. So he can only hand out punishments for military personnel. His responsibility does not include the state department at all. The State Department is a separate department from the Department of Defense. They do work together occasionally which is why you may have thought Carter could do something.
Can they demote Hillary back to “former Arkansas governor’s wife”?
I mean, can they demote her lower because what she did was a thousand times more damaging than what Petraeus did

Here’s what bothers me: grade determinations must be done before the service member retires. If they made a determination and processed his retirement package, and his retirement date has come and gone, it should be too late to revise.

This action sets it up to go after Hillary. It also sends a message to all other generals that “You can retire and we’ll still come after you so keep your mouths shut.”
Petraeus should be in prison as should Hillery.

If Herself gets taken down by an indictment, I can see the Clinton’s going full scorched earth on their own side. You know, the whole “If I can’t have it, nobody can have it” kind of thing. It would be an eruption of epic proportions, more fun then anything you could imagine. Every skeleton in the Democrat closet is going to be flung into the street by the Clinton Crime Syndicate.
