Hell’s katooter! The FEC hasn’t even ruled whether this loan was required to be reported yet or not. This was a personal loan secured by personal assets, not a loan to the campaign. The campaign was under no obligation to pay this loan back.
Cruz was obviously not hiding anything since he reported it on the Senate disclosure. At most he will need to file an amended form, if that.

But if he wanted to hide it, why would he have filed it with the Secretary of State in the first place?
He would have hidden it to ANYONE altogether if that were the intent.
And Trump is outright lying about the same loan, saying that it means that Cruz is "owned" by Goldman Sachs. Anyone who knows anything about finance knows what a margin loan is, and that Trump's statement is completely false. Didn't Trump attend the Wharton School of Finance? I think I heard that somewhere, once or twice.

I’ve watched “the sermon,” in its entirety. The man is making a big deal of Genesis 1:28, a verse in which the Creator instructs humanity to “have dominion” over the earth and its creatures.
“Dominion” may sound like a scary word. But God Himself instructs His people to exert it.
