Isn’t this because Cruz filibustered a bill Dole wanted for an outrageous expansion of ADA rules?
To: springwater13
You can just take your kiss of death and get on out of here, Mr. Bob Dole!
To: springwater13
Who came up with this?
Rove?
Ed Rollins? Who worked for a Tea Party Candidate some years ago and destroyed her campaign.
They think it will be the kiss of death for Trump, being supported by ol’ doesn't-roll-out-of-bed Dole.

Wow, Dole is spot on with his comments. Like it or not, the Republican Party is NOT that far right and because of loud voices on the far right, many have left the party or don’t vote. Trump is the only one who can beat Hillary.

I almost wish Cruz would get the nomination and suffer a total blowout just to shut up this insufferable nonsense. :)

Pure party loyalty and Senate decorum. That’s all the old fogie cares about.

BS. My dog could beat Hillary or Sanders.

Bob Dole Warns of 'Cataclysmic' Losses
Bob, you lost to a guy who got impeached. And you would have gotten one less vote if Jack Kemp had not been your running mate.

I lost my respect for Bob Dole after hearing him tell the story of why he got into politics. When he was younger and a bit more charismatic, he was approached by Kansas Democrats encouraging him to run for office. They told him he had the makings of a good political leader. Dole took them up on their advice, but decided to run as a Republican instead because Kansas elected Republicans.
Nothing about ideals. Nothing about conviction. Nothing about conservatism. Only that he became a Republican only because it was easier to get into office in Kansas as a Republican.
