I was able to get some idea of Cruz’s role in getting rid of Boehner. Since Ryan just started and only 10 Republicans voted against him, I don’t think expecting Cruz to do anything about the Speaker of the House while he’s campaigning for president is realistic. I also don’t expect Trump to do anything about it either.

Thank you for your reply.

Doie and Lindsay Graham came out for Trump. This week, Trump has sided with McConnell against Cruz. I’d say yes, GOP RINO is moving into Trump’s camp. Why? Obvious. Trump will “deal” and “negotiate”. They can “work” with him. Cruz will stand his ground. Trump said as much in the last debate, he will bring the 2 sides together. Cruz is spot on in his assessment.Desperation? No. Fact? Yes. Don’t take my word for it, Trump said this, as did Dole and Graham, not me. Ethanol, anyone?

Ethanol, anyone?

Why Iowa gets to rid the Republic of candidates for President is an astounding testament to the abuses of the "Federal" government.

Very sad. The “wrecking ball” Trump is becoming a “soft ball”, GOP guy.

What purpose is served by electing a republican to advance the democrat agenda?

Heck, look how many republicans were elected to Congress and they advanced the Obama agenda. We all think it's better to elect a Republican than a democrat to any office, but we're no better off with the GOPe people we've got.

All I'm saying, is that lots of democrats will choose Trump over Obama and Hillary, because they're fed up with Obama and Hillary. And because Trump is flamboyant. We don't know if Trump will advance the democrat agenda. We do know that Hillary will. That's good enough for some democrats to choose Trump. And possibly good enough for Republicans, to put a Republican in the White House while crossing our fingers that he'll do some good. Hopefully he won't turn out to be like the disaster that Schwarzenegger was for California (Rino).

For all of the bashing Trump did of McCain, he sure is sounding a lot like him lately. Even got an endorsement from McCain’s running mate!

Okay, that may be a low blow about Sarah, but the sounding like McCain part is accurate.

I love the Jeb! freight train ad. Someone needs to edit it to show it going over the bridge that is out just ahead.

Not sure that is really the case. The politicians and media say so, but SEC primary winner will win the nomination. Everyone wants to call this thing after IA, NH, SC, and NV. People should remember that these are 4 relatively small states, no matter what the politicians and media says.

"Super Tuesday" is March 1, I think. IA and NH are symbolic, though why candidates spend millions is baffling.

No, there should be no legislation regarding free parties' nomination processes.

There is a momentum factor, but only because we have been lead to believe that, by the media and the winners of these early states.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

In 1992 we were told to ignore Clintons past, character didn’t matter and the country has been paying the price ever since.

In 2008 we were told to ignore Obamas Marxist and muslim past and we are going to be paying the price for decades if we make it that long.

Now we are told to ignore Trumps leftist past and hope he’s changed.

Trump has told you flat out he intends to make deals.

Who is he going to be making the deals with?

He wouldn’t need to make deals if he is going to be advancing the republican agenda since he would have a majority in the house and senate.

Is he going to be pushing the democrats agenda and making deals with the repubs to pass the democrat agenda, which is no different than we have now?

What deal would he make with his touchback amnesty?

Instead of deporting the illegals then bringing them back in legally he would agree to just leave them here and make them legal like the dems want?

What other deal would it be?

All of them were BS from the get go. As much as they would be nice there is just no way he can or would do them. What is astonishing there are people that believe him.

Trump controls the INS. he has the power to get them out. Congress has the power to control how and when they come back in so you can take that up with them when the time comes. In the mean time, they’ll be out and the border will be secured so you don’t have a thing to complain about here.

You can convince yourself of anything to support Trump.

The 20 million illegals that are here now is bad but having them leave and come back with their families legally, which would be roughly 60 million, would be good.

Contrary to what you want to believe, increasing the number of 3rd worlders in this country for the American taxpayer to take care of will not solve a problem only increase it.

Why do you people (Cruz supporters) lie so much?

Former Sen. Bob Dole on Wednesday did something that once would have been unimaginable: He endorsed a Bush.

"Trump is a big government crony capitalist who has never indicated any willingness to cut spending or get the debt under control. "

Do you have any idea just how stupid the above is? Here is just one example of Trump getting things done within budget.

Wollman Rink From Wiki
The rink was closed in 1980 for an announced 2 1/2 years of renovations. When the problem-plagued work was not completed by the city by 1986, Donald Trump persuaded Mayor Ed Koch to let him complete the work and he completed the renovations in three months to have it open by the end of the year. Koch initially objected to Trump's proposal when Trump offered to pay for the renovations himself with the stipulation that he be allowed to run the venue and an adjacent restaurant and use the profits to recoup his costs. Public pressure prompted Mayor Koch to reverse his position.

So Trump did in 3 months what NYC had spent 6 years trying to do and he did it with his own money! Trump likes to point out that his campaign is currently 30 million under budget.

If they come back in, it won’t be Trump’s fault.
