Bloomberg's Mark Halperin said Trump could end the race after the New Hampshire primary. On Tuesday night, prior to Sarah Palin's endorsement of the Republican frontrunner, Halperin said on MSNBC that Trump is well poised to win Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and then run the table.
"I think at this point, if you said, of all the people in the race, who's the one most likely to win both Iowa and New Hampshire, today you'd have to say it's Trump," Halperin commented.

You think the Palin endorsement drove the Cruzers over the edge?
Wait until after Trump wins Iowa. And NH. And SC.
The Cruz campaign will be over in two weeks and Cruzers will have a choice to make.
Trump is like William Tecumseh Sherman... he’ll keep on marching to the sea.
Yes, he said it. I love Morning Joe, except they have pivoted from all TRUMP all the time to cover Bernie’s stunning numbers in New Hampshire against Hillary, 60 to 33!
Mika raised the point that media has missed out on Bernie and his message by assuming the Hillary cake walk, and ignoring what Bernie is doing on the ground. Now this stunning poll comes out, so they may do more on Sanders.
MJ has been the go-to programming for coming around to TRUMP and for months been giving him the coverage his rise deserves. I’ve credited them with 3 hours daily of TRUMP talk and TRUMP calling in, with the rise in his numbers with 20% gains in Democrat support, actually.
The polls seem to have gone all silent on the IOWA contest. Am I just missing them, or what?
I hope that bridges have not been burned (by either side) between the Cruz and Trump camps. It’s gotten pretty ugly, but I think the two camps have a lot in common, and not that much in differences.
I think, my own personal opinion, that the numbers are a lot higher for Trump than people want to hear...
I think, if you think about it, those people stand in long lines for hours, rain, snow, cold, heat and they fill arenas, stadiums, anything and everything, and they won’t come out to caucus, I don’t believe that for a second...
He is going to take Iowa, and run the board and end up in the Oval Office, and all because WE the American Voter are running this election and NOT the GOPe or anyone else!!!
The Cruzer is only 45 yrs old.
He’ll be around a long time I suspect, no matter what happens in 2016.
Please do not use the Sherman analogy. His men raped and pillaged their way through Georgia.
I’ve noticed this too.
And did I miss the polls after last week’s debate?
That’s where I am. The last “poll” I saw of IOWA was the Drudge Report outcome following the last debate.
Senate Majority Leader would be a better fit.
Does seem strange?
The Cruz campaign will be over in two weeks and Cruzers will have a choice to make.

A lot of them have already expressed their choice if that happens and sadly they choose Hillary. “That’ll show those mean old Trumpsters”.
“The polls seem to have gone all silent on the IOWA contest.”
I have noticed that too. The last polls I seem to remember had Trump tied with Ted or ahead by a few points. For some reason no one is letting out their polling data.
Exactly! I don’t know what to make of it, and none of the media pundits anywhere are even curious. Which is “curious”.
Something must be up. Wonder if it was similar back in the presidential contest of ‘12, during this period. I don’t remember.
No, right after the debate there were six: Trump up 2-3 in four of them, one tied, one (DMR) a 4 point Cruz lead (doing this from memory.)
