Blizzard warnings have been issued for the Baltimore and Washington D.C. metro areas, and blizzard watches extend northward to the Philadelphia and New York City metro areas as Winter Storm Jonas begins to take shape. The storm is expected to deliver heavy snowfall to at least 15 states, and heavy ice accumulations, strong winds and coastal flooding will add to the storm's impact as it carves a path from the nation's heartland through the South and onward to the East Coast now through Sunday.
As of Thursday morning, just over 73 million people â or roughly one in every four Americans â were covered by either a blizzard watch, blizzard warning, winter storm watch, winter storm warning, winter weather advisory, or freezing rain advisory from southeast Nebraska to the Carolinas to the New York City area.

We went through this same routine almost exactly a year ago and it was a big dud. NYC and Connecticut was completely shut down and we ended up with only a few inches in NYC proper.
The winter overall was a nasty one but the storm that was hyped the most fell flat.

Ch 3 in Connecticut is a ultra liberal station and all but one weather person is queer.
They not only play the winter storm name game but refuse to use the NWS names and make up there own.
Station really sucks. Its not news it current events

1 in 4 Americans. That's bad enough to institute a ban on all refrigerators, air conditioners and SUV’s.

“current events”= pop culture? So, if another storm pops up (likely) will it be named in honor of one of the kardouchians? Maybe “Polar Vortex caitlyn”?

When did they start naming “winter storms”??

Srsly? Theyâre naming snow storms now? When they gonna start naming everyday thunderstorms or lightning bolts. We get idioter and idioter by the day.TWS started to name winter storms just about the time it stopped reporting weather and started reporting climate change. I haven't watched TWC since.
