I’m his audience and he’s siding with me. Not his job to side with you or me. He is doing what he should be doing and supporting a conservative, Ted Cruz. I wouldn’t expect anything else.
I think you missed the point. His audience - including myself - always, I believe, respected his integrity. By not disclosing before he wasn’t being honest with us, his audience. Same would be true if the ‘connection’ was to Trump, Carson, Rubio or anyone else. Finding out after the fact is disappointing, that’s the point. It’s like the financial radio guys who got in trouble in the past by not disclosing that they were being remunerated for the very financial products they were talking-up. Investors/listeners should be able to assess the products with that knowledge before investing. Same here.
