Your opinion, Trump is “untried” and has multiple bankrupts and marriages in his past and he likes Putin because Putin said something “nice” about him and acts like a spoiled child when someone says “un-nice” things about him. Should we get Trump as President, will see what happens. Am still undecided, but leaning Cruz, stripes haven’t changed, best conservative. One thing for sure, no matter who gets the GOP spot, we must get the Whitehouse this time or we will be in a very dark place
Trump is not completely untried.
Trump has lots of management experience running large organizations. He can size managers up quickly, he knows how to measure results, and he is quick to take corrective action. Our government really needs that.
Trump has dealt with foreign governments more than most, because he has had business dealings in foreign countries.
Trump understands leverage, negotiation and deal making. That makes him more of a diplomat than the other GOP candidates.
Trump understands the economy. He has been talking about our stupid trade policies and how they are leaching jobs and industries out of America since before the last election. Cruz does not as evidenced by Cruz’s vote for TPP.
Cruz’s vote also showed a misplaced trust in Obama, which Trump did not share.
Trump is combative. He does respond to attacks. My guess is that people will be a little less likely to attack America with Trump in charge. But Trump negotiates too. He probably has a much thicker skin than people think. But this is a campaign, and Trump doesn’t leave many attacks unanswered in a campaign.
Cruz may be better on social issues such as abortion and support of traditional marriage. But those are non-starters until we get more rinos out of congress anyway. Plus Cruz raising funds from gays put some of that in doubt.
Trump is more proactive with solutions than the other candidates. He has put detailed position papers on his site. His solution to illegal immigration restores the rule of law and stops the problem going forward.
