Its the squeaky wheel principal. Unfortunately, a much higher percentage of the entertainment and media world are made up of this demographic. They are making the most noise because they are getting all sorts of special benefits and consideration because of their whining.
Yes, there more in Hollyweird than in the real world. Again, it’s about their cravings for attention - Look at MEEEEE! and I can do or say what I want because I’m gaaaaay so you have to excuse me, tee hee!!! They’re on stage and in front of the lights and cameras and promote themselves at all cost. Bottom line is attention.
