The American public estimates on average that 23% of Americans are gay or lesbian, little changed from Americans' 25% estimate in 2011, About the percentage of openly gay characters on television any more. That is what drives the perception. Reality? Maybe 1.5-2% at most.

Its unfortunate... as a family we refuse to watch shows and movies where gays are characters. There is no need to support their agenda. Doesn’t leave much else to watch most days.. but then again we are well informed with the news.
