I hesitate posting anything to begin with BECAUSE of the Trumpsters bashing on pretty much every post before it even got off the ground.............why bother when there’s nothing they’re contributing to what Cruz is saying???
I had to hunt for someone interested in actual conversation or comment about the gathering.....so no it was not Cruz supporters who tried to bring this down....it was static in the wings ready to pounce.
I was disappointed Glen Beck went rather out there from the good standing he once had.......however I support his willingness to stand with Cruz. I just take it with a grain of salt.....especially since this wasn’t what one would call a Cruz gathering...rather Cruz was the guest of Becks.

Yes the first part of the Thread was trashing from all sides, Trump, Cruz, and Beck. The first part of this thread also occurred before the actual rally started. My point was from when the rally started particularly when Cruz started speaking.
Cruz understands exactly the point this nation is at and what this election means for the country. He also knows ‘what’ destruction Washington politicians are doing and ‘how’ they are doing it through our Governing system.....he’s got the know how to spot the vipers there...and there’s a nest of them he’s been smoking out of their dens.....
It will take someone with that knowledge to get them out.....otherwise they will dance circles around a newbie....he’ll never see them coming.
Then when too few Cruz supporters showed up, after the blitz of snark and smears, they complain that Cruz supporters are being so down on this thread. Funny thing is that there are very few Cruz supporters on the thread to begin with.
Then they also very magnanimously left us (that is the one or two here) alone after the cr@pping all over the thread with their very "positive" posts.
Post the rest of comment instead of pulling a “Trump” and twisting part of it it to frame your own grievance.....your half truths like Trumps will one day catch up to you Jane.

It was great fun..... this man really does interact personally with those he spoke with.....seeing and hearing him do so wasn’t expected so I was glad to have heard that.
I tried to post some of it but it was hard sometimes to hear....the guy holding the mike over the crowd had his hands full keeping up...Ha!

Always remember.....this battle is not ours but the Lords.....there’s not only a stronghold in Washington but on the people of this land.... and worth fighting for. This battle would not be raging as it is if it were not so......and the fact there is so much resistance ‘to the truth’ just proves there is so much to gain by staying the course....Ted knows this very well.
We knew from the start that the target of the GOP was Cruz.....so did everybody else...especially the Demorats and established Republicans who work with them hand in hand......
Nobody was as surprised as Trump he got the early following he did....he fully underestimated the condition of the people and their ability to be easily misled. But once this, and he’s a master at misleading, he tapped into it and ran with it. .. He actually toyed with the people early on and chuckled while doing so.
But because he feeds on attention it was a match...they want a hero and he wants to be one. (Until he gets it, another story for another time.) At any rate....here we are exactly set just like Obama was....and the powers that be are positioning to take Trump the rest of the way....for THEY are all too familiar with how to keep and retain their foothold in Washington and who best to bank on....they really don’t care who gets the Primary as long as it’s not Cruz.....Trump will go along to get along because he always has with them....it’s important to him to be liked....obviously.
We shall see if the people can break the hold on what has them entwined.....and do the right thing for this country....God provides but it is after all a choice he gives to man.....
Most here would be happy with either Cruz or Trump....but those who understand know that they really have just one choice.....there is no fall guy.
I’ll stick with the proven, stable, and tested Ted Cruz...I KNOW what he stands for...and who he is IN...

So far, reading the comments in this thread, and I am in full agreement with everything you’ve been saying. Sometimes I wonder if I’m still at FR....or some other alternate reality website (if you know what I mean)...

I’ve been on Free Republic, I believe for 16 years, and there has been some tense moments, but NEVER EVER anything this bad.
It’s like all of a sudden it is okay to vote for a RINO....
