I do not want to cast aspersions, where aspersions should not be cast. And, if I hit you in the face with a cast-iron frying pan, it is well within your rights to wait for a metallurgist to determine exactly what material the alleged frying pan was comprised of.
So lets do some legal speculation.
Let’s assume the FBI does want to go to the grand jury and the DOJ does not want to.
Now the Grand Jury clause of the Constitution reads:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger
Now if it can be shown that one of the classified emails was from the military and was transmitted during or around the time of Benghazi? Would that qualify as an exception to the above clause and allow Hilary to be tried in military court?
Not that there would be a snow balls chance in hell of that happening, I am just testing a hypothetical.

The statute of limitations doesn’t matter. A GOP president won’t go after members of a preceding Dem administration. How many Dems were prosecuted under Bush, Reagan, Nixon? GW Bush did have time to go after Republicans as Abramoff, Ken Lay, and Scooter Libby discovered.
I think they have a Mutually Assured Destruction sort of stance with each other.

It worked with the Republican Party when her and Bill occupied the White House. The Republicans would not do anything because they had dirt on them also. The Republicans are just as corrupt as the Democrats. just not always in the same areas.

If it’s Trump or Cruz (which is a near certainty IMHO) they WILL go after the criminals in the Obama regime. Of course, it is also a near certainty that Obama will have gone on a MASSIVE pardon production effort pardoning anyone even distantly related to the crimes of Obama’s appointees.

Me too. It was fun.
Not under Comey. That should be obvious by now. What has happened and is continuing to happen are the leaks on the status from the FBI. Whether Lynch moves to cooperate or not the findings are going to make it to the public.
Hillary may not be indicted but once the FBI gets finished her tanking poll numbers will be non-existent. The criminal acts arranged through the foundations are off the chart. That will all be public knowledge.
