SPRINGFIELD - The Illinois State Board of Elections will have several petition challenges to consider for the March 15th GOP and Democrat presidential primaries.

Objections to the petitions of Democrat candidates Hillary Clinton, Roque “Rocky” de La Fuente, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley and Larry (Lawrence Cohen) were filed Wednesday, the last day to raise objections.

Republicans Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz’s petitions are also being challenged. William Graham of Glen Ellyn Illinois is challenging both Rubio and Cruz, and Lawrence Joyce of Poplar Grove Illinois is also challenging Cruz’s qualifications to be on the Illinois GOP ballot....”

Tell me, why did the birthers not make this argument until AFTER Obama was elected? The "two citizen parents" argumet made no appearance on FR until December 8, 2008.

It was on that date that the Great Epiphany occurred and thus began the emergence from dormancy of countless persons who now swear that decades earlier they were taught "NBC = born in the U.S. of parents who are citizens." Though when John McCain ran for president in 2000 that generation was still in hibernation, and they remained so until shortly after the 2008 election.

Though notwithstanding the advent of Google Books and a vast amount of now other readily accessible documentation, not one of them has been able to document a single textbook or resource material from their school days that actually contains that supposed definition.

It's a most curious thing.
