People have mentioned that past elections, particularly 19’th century ones were knock-down cage matches by comparison to today. However, have we ever seen an election cycle that so thourally demolishes the underlying media bias (both sides guilty) that fuels the whole thing?

I'll say this. I always knew the liberal media were liars. You can never entirely trust anything from them. There's always an agenda.

But I never realized how dishonest the "conservative" media was. It's not so much an ideological bent like the liberals. It's the financial conflicts of interest that impact their reporting.

Everybody seems connected to some politician in some way or another. There is no "above the fray honest broker."

That has been a revelation to me.
