I do agree, by their fruits you shall know them - not by their words. I’ve always been a strong believer in pray in secret and with charity, don’t let your right hand know what your left hand is doing - and that’s all paraphrased so I am probably not quoting it right, just the idea.

Trump tells the story of accompanying his father to deliver a one million dollar check to a cement company when the bill was only for 900,000. In the book you discover the mob controlled ALL CEMENT poured in north east. Trump uses the same company his dad did but he has renegotiated with leverage. They want his big pours (Trump Towers) and now give HIM the deals.
I see nothing about that that would categorize him as a flake. Hannity and Limbaugh have a ridiculous number of commercials too. As for dumping on Trump, there are plenty of reasons to be very concerned about him.
