100 climate scientists? Are there only 100 climate scientists? What makes a scientist a climate scientist? Are they required to pass a test developed Al Gore?
That is curious. My recollection is that the China and India are two countries that aren’t going along with global warming/climate change theory and policy. They want coal plants to generate electricity to bring their people out of poverty.
I think he means that it was invented by China and used against the USA.
I have heard Trump speak on Global Warming.
He said it’s called Weather. He said global warming is a scam to get money for governments.
Well at least that makes sense.
Maybe someone can come up with a link on that.
Ted did a good job taking on global warming / climate change. That takes preparation, conviction and courage. I think he is sincere and was not merely tacking right to get the nomination.
From a 2014 article.
http://www.teaparty.org/donald-trump-scoffs-climate-change-called-weather-53577/
It’s toward the bottom of the article:
The interview with Trump concluded with a discussion about “climate change,” or, as Trump and many other conservatives call it, “weather.”
“Taxing everybody for climate change is absolutely ridiculous,” Trump said. “Many people don’t even think there is such a thing as ‘climate change.’ It’s called weather.”
“Now they call it ‘climate change’ but they used to call it ‘global warming,’” Trump stated. “Well, ‘climate change’ takes care of everything-cooling, warming, no matter what happens. The whole thing with massive taxes, which is essentially what it is, would be very bad for the country.”
The original was a Breitbart interview with Trump on September 1, 2014.
He has always been excellent on exposing the global warming fraud, one of the very best.
Thanks for the link.
I’m happy with Donald Trump’s answer too.
I have to give special kudos to Cruz for facing someone who disagreed, and for offering salient facts. And I learned something too. Apparently the much quoted 97% number comes from the Union of Concerned Scientists - that says it all.
I appreciate the words of both men on this important topic.
I think the tacts taken by both Cruz and Trump point out the differences in their approach to other areas of contention.
One takes the long road, and the other steamrolls you with common sense.
I think both want the same eventual outcome. I did notice Trump’s take on Obama, leadership, ‘climate change’, and ISIS was long before he announced his decision to run for President. I think I found that to be the most interesting thing about the article.
