He flat-out said that they didn’t have insurance. Don’t try to twist it.
I, for one, believe that it was a misunderstanding. He got the last notice skimmed it, and didn’t realize that they automatically put him onto another policy. He probably put it on his ‘to do’ list and kept putting it off.
But he did say it.

I watched it. He took credit for “Rand, Mike and himself” which is fine. It’s not the same as taking credit just for himself.

What about abolishing the IRS and installing a fairer tax system. Trump is not so sure ... he’s more like ... show me the money but I will spend it wisely.
What about really caring about gun rights. Trump has only seen guns in the movies or maybe when his bodyguards have them. This is an issue to me but not to Trump.

Now you can disagree with Cruz or accept what he says but the bill was not unconstitutional. What is unconstitutional is taking private property for private benefit rather than public use.
