Dear BlackElk,

A big part of the reason Trump supporters and Cruz supporters are having such problems is that things that are just not true about Trump keep getting posted day after day.

We provide proof and documentation but it is completely ignored by Cruz supporters.

Trump didn’t vote for Obama in 2008 or in 2012. He endorsed and campaigned for McCain in 2008 and he endorsed Romney in 2012.

He held off endorsing anyone in 2012 until after the primary because he was hoping Sarah would get in so he could endorse her.

He also endorsed Poppy Bush and was at the replublican convention. I don’t know if he endorsed GW Bush or not but I think he was a registered republican at that time.

While it is true he supported single payer healthcare in 2000 he said in 2011 that he realized it would not work and that Obamacare is a disaster. He said we should be able to buy insurance across state lines so insurance companies have to compete for our business and we need serious tort reform including loser pay.

He also says he is pro life now. It is up to you to decide if you believe him or not. I believe if congress put a bill on his desk to de-fund PP he would sign it.

Most of the things Cruz supporters post day after day about Trump are either outright lies, distortion, or comments taken out of context.

You may still believe that your fellow FReepers have taken leave of our senses or are following a cult or whatever it is Cruz supporters think of us but consider the people who approve of Trump that actually know him personally. Do you think Sarah Palin or Phyllis Schlafly, or Jerry Falwell Jr are stupid or cultists?

Please consider for a moment that maybe they have reasons for supporting him. If you haven’t heard the introduction Jerry Falwell Jr have Trump at his Libert U speech you should.

It pretty much sums up the way we Trump supporters see Trump.

To believe Trump or not.....that IS the question????.....especially since he has no evidence supporting his positions now except he says so.... His explanations for how and why he claims to have changed are vague at best. Especially since it’s only been months ago he was singing different tunes by his actions and evidence of.

If you manage to elect The Donald, I sincerely hope that your every wish comes true for his presidency. I may even vote for him if he is nominated. I note that he is too committed to turn back in his stands against the immigration, and in favor of the Second Amendment, and in his commitment to good treatment of our veterans. He may have a few other specific positions I would approve. I take him at his word on those things. I am verrrrrry suspicious as to the timing of his sudden discovery that he claims to be pro-life. Whatever else he may be, a social conservative is not among the accurate descriptions that may be applied to him. I have been far too involved in the pro-life movement to tolerate being trifled with on this issue. WHO and WHAT would he appoint to SCOTUS and other judgeships? Crickets!

He might well repeal Obozocare because it offends his common sense as a businessman who has enjoyed success through sensible business decisions. Ben Carson is a truly great pediatric neurosurgeon but that does not qualify him for POTUS. The Donald has been a world-class businessman but one who prides himself on The Art of the Deal. McConnell, Ryan-o, Cornyn, Alexander, Corker, Cockroach, Mookowski, Kevin McCarthy and a supportive cast of Congresswhores spend their entire lives playing Let's Make a Deal with their nation's enemies to benefit the megabucks donor class who finance them, and buy and sell their souls. We have enough of that already and we need not give the corrupt wheelers and dealers of K Street, Wall Street and US Chamber of Crony Commerce a new corrupt ally in the White House.

If Trump is elected, I hope he proves me wrong and you right because our country would desperately need that but I am skeptical as hell of The Donald. Right now the best reasons to vote for him are that he is NOT the Arkansas Medusa, the Vermont Comrade or Nanny Bloomberg. Is that REALLY all it takes to get us to vote for him? That is the same argument given to vote for Moral Monster Mitt Romney which I did not do and also to vote for McCain, Dubya, Dole (Old Man Dole is a vacant old soul), Bush the New World Order Elder, Feckless Ford and Tricky Dick. Is Trump provably better than ANY much less ALL of them for whom I voted and am therefore ashamed? He has not sold it yet and, if he "moderates" after nomination, that will seal it that he is nothing but an establishment stooge.

If lies are flying here, it is a two-way proposition and that has to stop.

"Loser Pay" is insurance company propaganda for chilling any attempt by the injured with assets to obtain just compensation for fear of adding financial ruin to their state of injury. Meanwhile, Simon LeGree who assures you that you are in goods hands with good old bloodsucker Auto Insurance. Mother Aetna, The Hartford, The Maryland, Travelers' and their ilk are in no danger of bankruptcy and, if they were, it would be through mismanagement not over generosity to the injured. Enact "loser pays" and no capable plaintiff's trial lawyer will litigate a case without being p[aid by the hour just like the insurance company lawyers who bleed the company somewhat dry at $250 to $500 PER HOUR and then, the bonus is that IF they persuade a jury to rob the injured widows and orphans, they will then ask a percentage of attorney's fees recovered from the "greedy" widows and orphans and those rendered brain dead and amputees by their injuries.

Finally, I have a world of respect for 91 year old Phyllis Schlafly, a giant among conservatives, and for Sarah Palin, a more recent movement figure. I have little knowledge of Jerry Falwell, Jr., other than he is presumably the son of Jerry Falwell, Sr. Each is every bit as entitled to make a POTUS choice as I am. I choose Cruz. As to Trump voting for McCain, so did I so I cannot very well criticize him for that vote. Voting for Moral Monster Mitt Romney is no better than voting for Obozo and I did not vote for either. Trump is tainted by the verrrrrry poor judgment of voting for Romney. Has he apologized or does he own everything that Moral Monster Mitt Romney is, has always been and always will be?
