The Middle East was already destabilized. Saddam waged war on Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the United States and his own people.

Saddam harbored, trained and paid international terrorists including at least one involved in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Saddam was one the worst mass-murdering genocidal tyrants of the latter 20th Century. He did not deserve to reign in the 21st.
