Former Florida Gov. and Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush will attend a campaign fundraiser Monday at the Palm Beach home of Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and his wife, Kara.

The cost, which includes a photo reception and luncheon, is $2,700 per person or $5,400 per couple.

Among those on the host committee are: Wilma and Stuart Bernstein, Ann Bresnan, Nancy Brinker, Eric Cantor, Howard Cox, Tom Ferguson, Bill Finneran, Frances and Jeffrey Fisher, Carol and Bob Garvy, Suzanne and Woody Johnson, Gretchen and Howard Leach, Meike and George LeMieux, Muffy and Don Miller, Natalie Pray, the Rosses, and Martha and Dwight Schar.

Anita Mitchell, county chair for Bush's campaign, said she expects a good turnout, pointing to his appearance at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches in December, which drew 1,000 people. He received three standing ovations from attendees at the bipartisan club, she said.

Your would think Jeb would be campaigning in Iowa or New Hampshire today given the upcoming caucuses and primary, instead of fundraising back in Florida.

Jeb decided two years ago to skip Iowa and put all his eggs in the Florida basket. Rudy Giuliani used the same strategy.

I saw something this morning that reported Jeb! was down to 1% in Iowa. At that percentage, what’s the point of campaigning there? I’m guessing he’s going to put it all into FL since that’s his “home” state & a loss there would be humiliating .... beyond the humiliation he’s already suffered but doesn’t seem to recognize/accept in his “little rich boy entitlement” bubble.

He’s hoping beyond hope that Trump/Cruz somehow destroy each other or more likely, fall off the face of the earth. Then he presumes HE will be the one the Republicans run to and crown with the nomination (if he can destroy Rubio).

Rudy never got out of the starting gate and it looks like Jeb getting beat by Trump in Florida polls by 30+ so far looks like he failed in at the gate too.,

Isn’t Trump polling in FL more than Jeb! And Rubio combined?

Jeb hasn't made ANY sense since he began his campaign.

WHY would anything change at this point?

yup.

a couple weeks ago he was at some council on foreign relations (NWO) meeting in NYC instead of beating the campaign trail.

sounds like he’s desperately spending time chasing more cash than more votes.

gotta pay off these campaign debts somehow.

he sees the writing on the wall.

as the donald would say: “LOSER”

He’s just trying to pay off campaign debts while he can still raise some money.

"Among those on the host committee are: ..., Eric Cantor..."

Gee, I wonder what is going on with that? He just sponsored a Virginia Conservative Network (VCN) lunch meeting a week ago Saturday in Henrico County.

Jeb is probably loaning himself money given his 4th quarter fundraising collapse. So you’re probably right.
