I give you Beck was very educational at one time and I learned a lot, but whether due to health or shaky finance or an overinflated ego he had gone total loon a few years back like calling tea party supporters racist. I actually pity him to have waste the image he once had.

Back in his Fox Channel days Beck did some excellent shows about the Founding Fathers, his high water mark. Pretty much irrelevant at this point.

Your facts were an interview of Trump commenting on how Russia (Putin) handled Russia's [] own internal monetary crisis and through that you infer that Trump is a closet communist?

"internal monetary crisis?

Are you aware that Russia has been threatening to retake their former Soviet states in Eastern Europe? That they've already invaded the Ukraine? That they continue to this day arming and supporting hostile leftist regimes throughout Latin America? That they have forged a tighter than ever military alliance with the ChiComs? That they've been conducting joint war games with them in preparation for war with US and our allies?

"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond," Trump said in a statement"

Anyway, I didn't say I thought Trump was a secret communist, but rather that he has a long history of cozying up to them, which he does.

I am not a fan of Glenn Beck. I stopped listening to him a couple of years ago. However, regarding the comment about the conspiracy to 25 million Americans; In 1982, Larry Grathwohl, an FBI infiltrator into the Weather Underground terrorist group, gave an interview where he talked about sitting in on a meeting of the WU and they seriously wanted to eliminate 25 million people who would not go along with their plans. Yep, sounds ridiculous. However, one of those people was Bill Ayers, a mentor of Obama’s. Beck probably figured Obama would be influenced by Ayers and carry out those plans. Yes, the idea is far fetched. Never gonna happen. Anyway, here’s Grathwohl’s interview.

The bear goes where it is unopposed.....

Obumer is considered weak and ineffective by the ruskies....They will gladly fill the void as demonstrated in Eastern Europe....”W” was also considered a man-boy to some extent by the Ruskies....

Unless we want a constant instant war footing we have to deal with the Russians economically, politically and militarily.

Trump was paid a complement and he returned it, the relevance of his comment has little to do with policy or strength but detente’ or relationship.

We have to many pandering politicians beating their chest falsely for their constituents and not enough smiling but tough negotiations.

Geo-political negotiations is a tough business but at the end relationships matter. Reagan demonstrated that with Gobachev...

Glad we are out of the “you’re a poopy-pants” stage of name calling. :^)

This forum is so much better when debate and discussion occurs.....

TRUMP: Vladimir Putin's praise is 'a great honor'

Business Insider ^ | December 17, 2015 | By Maxwell Tani

Republican US presidential front-runner Donald Trump is apparently "honored" that Russian President Vladimir Putin considers the real-estate magnate a "flamboyant" and "very talented" man.

"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond," Trump said in a statement, according to Politico.

He continued: "I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect."

How Russia arms America's southern neighbors

Ioan Grillo
May 9, 2014

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Russia's push into Ukraine has put many on edge. But less known is that Russia is also strengthening its military links south of the Rio Grande and re-establishing itself as a power in the region.

Vladimir Putin has been strengthening military links here, and Russia is now the largest arms dealer to governments in Latin America, surpassing the United States.

Russia has even floated the possibility of building new military bases in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, and putting its warships permanently in the Caribbean.

In the midst of the Ukraine crisis, Russia's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov recently visited Cuba, Peru, Chile, and Nicaragua, where he announced that Russia would also pour money into the new Central American canal project. ..."

Russia Boosts Arms, Training for Leftist Latin Militaries

Moscow defense minister inks deals with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua for joint exercises

BY: Bill Gertz
February 20, 2015

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.

Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.

Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

"Trump's relationship with Russia goes far back. In 1987, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was meeting with Soviet officials and negotiating the building of "luxury hotels" in Moscow and Leningrad .

A story at the time said Trump had met Soviet Ambassador Yuri Dubinin, who mentioned how much his daughter had admired the "opulent" Trump Tower in New York City. This led to an invitation to Trump to visit the USSR. The story said Dubinin wrote a letter to Trump, who hosted a meeting with Soviet officials in New York.

The invitation to Moscow was issued by Intourist, the giant Soviet in-country travel organization which operated all the hotels for foreigners in the Soviet Union.

Intourist was created in 1929 by Joseph Stalin and run by KGB officials. Intourist hotels were designed for wealthy foreigners, and virtually all the Intourist guides were KGB informers. In fact, one aspect of their jobs was the recruitment of foreigners. ..."

"...we are left thinking [whether] Trump understands the aggressive intentions of Vladimir Putin.

"...when Trump was asked about the nuclear balance with Russia during the most recent Republican presidential debate, he displayed ignorance of the decaying nature of the U.S. nuclear triad, which constitutes our ability to deter and survive a Russian nuclear first strike.

"Putin has just presided over a ceremony honoring the KGB's successor agencies, and the Russia Today (RT) propaganda channel has announced the grand opening of a "cultural center" dedicated to mass murderer Joseph Stalin.

It looks like Putin has outmaneuvered Obama and Trump. It is an opening for Trump's opponents, especially Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Marco Rubio (R-FL). But do they have the courage to "follow the money" and hold Trump accountable for doing business with a criminal regime that threatens the survival of the United States? At the end of this money trail, they may find an explanation of why Trump is so reluctant to hold Putin responsible for his crimes.

Thanks! I was aware of the mutual complements.....but it is no more than two fighters shaking hands in the ring prior to a fight....

It has little relevance to how the fight is fought....Russia respects actions not words but insulting and embarrassing Putin when he pays a complement will not positively impact the basis of a new relationship. Tough actions not words is what the bear understands....

You won’t get “Pootie-poo” from Trump.....

As far as Putin being a very bad and evil guy.....all he needs is a cat and he could star in a Bond movie....

He didn't have to get all gushy about it.

There's a big difference between

"Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

and

"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond"

Yep! Hubby used to watch his show everyday. Then Glen Beck got too big for his britches and decided he could make it on his own....without the built in Fox audience. Now he’s no one and no one cares what he says or thinks.

Prior to the “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” were many friendly meetings between the two men. Posing for public pictures together and private meetings.

Reykjavik started friendly but got tough quickly from Reagan...

This warming of relations with significant economic pressure gave Gorbachev the ability to redirect Russia. Iron fist with silk glove diplomacy...Reagan was a master at it....

Trump negotiates with a similar style.....he wins on his deals and doesn't relent....

Putin is a lot worse than Gorbachev was. He has Russia aggressively flexing their muscles, retaking Eastern Europe, stepping up arms to hostile regimes throughout Latin America, staging annual joint war games with the ChiComs, who also have been flexing their muscles while substantially building up their military. Then there is the Syria-Iran-Russia axis, with Iran on the verge of possessing nuclear weapons.

I agree. Years of alchoholism and drug use have caused Beck problems in later years. He is obviously mentally unstable and not a good person to tout as an endorsement. This is not helping Cruz.
