Obama on Supreme Court? 'A great idea,' Clinton says

Barack Obama will be out of a job next year. And one voter in Iowa had a suggestion for Hillary Clinton, should she become president: Nominate him to the Supreme Court.

"Wow. What a great idea. Nobody has ever suggested that to me. Wow," Clinton said to laughter and applause from the audience.

"He may have a few other things to do," Clinton added.

After noting how the next president will nominate "at least three" Supreme Court justices and that she isn't happy with the current Supreme Court, Clinton went back to the voter's question.

"I would certainly take that under advisement," Clinton said. "I mean, he is brilliant and he can set forth an argument and he was a law professor. He has got all the credentials."

One problem: Could he get past the Senate?

Supreme Court justices must be confirmed by the United States Senate, a body that has been under Republican control for the past year.

"We do have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed," Clinton told the voter.

Obama as a Supreme Court justice is not a new concept, and one president, William Howard Taft, did serve on the high court following his presidency, as chief justice.

A guy that lost his law license on the supreme court...

I still don’t believe he’ll step down from office. Something will happen for him to declare martial law and suspend the elections either before the general, or not long before the next president-elect is sworn into office. This state of martial law will last until his passing. You probably haven’t heard this for the first time, but this is what I believe. I sorely want to be proven wrong.

I believe he’s going to do the U.N. or something international, probably while also doing the “Clinton Foundation” and “speech giving.”

Baraq, our first historic muslim president lies to the American public as a matter of his muslim faith.
He routinely ignores or goes around the rule of law and the Constitution. Why should he follow the law about term limits for the Presidency? What if he suspends the election? What if he decides just not to leave? Who will make him leave? The republicans? HAH. We are going to have to endure a difficult time with this muslim POS until he is really gone. Even if he does vacate the office, his media will treat him as if he is still the POTUS. How will that work with a Democommumist president?

It is about to get interesting. See tagline

How about Hillary trading in her “man suit” for an “orange jump suit.”

He wouldn’t do the work anyway. He never has.

He’d keep right on being a flunky front man for the same shadowy cabal that snuck him into the White House.

Obama should go where the rest of the disgraced, washed-up, pukes, feebs and loser politicians go: to a tenured chair at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

William Howard Taft was 100 times as qualified as Obama to be a justice. He should have accepted an appointment to the Court under Teddy Roosevelt--he wasn't cut out for an elective office.

Three vacancies? Hillary is already thinking ahead to Arkanciding some of the justices she wants to get rid of?

He’d never accept it. He is too stoned and lazy.

He could do it. A bunch of freshly minted clerks would jump at the chance to write stuff for him. Justice Thurgood Marshall spent his time watching soap operas near the end. He also told his clerks that if it was a drug case he wanted them guilty (he'd run out of patience with drug people). Did anyone really notice? A very bright fellow I went to U of C with wound up clerking for both Brennan and Souter. This tells you something about Souter.

I think he'd rather not accept because for him it would be a life sentence, and the celebrity thing doesn't wear well with SCOTUS. UN Secretary General is likely more his speed.

“We do have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed,”

There is no evidence for that at all. R Senates routinely approve radical leftist supreme court judges.

Yup. She must have known that was a bald faced lie — didn’t stop her from uttering it though.

She is a truly despicable person.
