Cruz won a Supreme Court Case for vets. He also wrote legislation which was unanimously passed to give the Ft. Hood victims Purple Hearts and the benefits that go with them.
Cruz wrote the legislation that allowed the wounded and killed at Ft Hood to receive the pay and awards they deserved.
