Presidential candidate Donald Trump said he is "most likely" not going to participate in Thursday's night Republican debate hosted by FOX News Channel and moderated in part by Megyn Kelly. Trump made the comments at a Tuesday evening press conference in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Trump said he would probably hold a charity event a charity event to raise money for veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project.
DONALD TRUMP: I told FOX you should give money to the Wounded Warriors. I'm not a fan of Megyn Kelly. I think she's a third-rate reporter, frankly, not good at what she does. They could do a lot better than Megyn Kelly. I'm going to make a decision with FOX but i probably won't bother doing the debate. they picked me as number one. Not only number one, number one by far.
Probably I won't be doing the debate. I'm going to have something else in Iowa, do something where we raise money for the veterans and the wounded warriors. We're going to do something simultaneously with the debate. Most likely I'm not going to do the debate...
I don't know what games Roger Ailes is playing, but what's wrong over there, something's wrong. But when they sent out that press release talking about, I said why are these people playing games? Most likely I won't be doing the debate.

DT’s trashing of Vander Plaat does not bode well for him in Iowa.

From what I’ve read, regardless of how one views Mr. Trump’s behavior, Fox was definitely out of bounds and partisan. Aren’t they supposed to maintain at least a veneer of disinterest if they are hosting the debate? I think RNC should have stepped up on this. Love him or hate him, Trump is one of their candidates.

Just a few weeks ago your messiah Trump was floating the idea of bringing on Ted Cruz as his VP. A few weeks ago Trump had concluded that Ted Cruz was eligible to be president. But the polls changed (not the US Constitution), and so your messiah Trump, Donald Duck, flip flopped.
Whew. It must suck to be so enamored with such a cowardly candidate.

There was an obvious plan by the Fox News moderators to ambush Trump in the Fox News debate and bring him down to destroy his presidential hopes
Megan Kelly strutted into the debate acting like Mohamed Ali walking into the ring or like Bill Clinton doing his victory march down the walkway into the Democrat Convention after impeachment. She showed and attitude of absolute self importance and arrogance walking up to the moderator table.
Trump is smart to avoid getting ambushed again and lets face it - one of the best tricks the Democrat dirty tricks and smear machine has pulled against Republicans is tying them to Fox News, which is reviled and reflexively hated by the Democrat's Progressive Left and also many other potential less radical 1980’s Reagan Democrats who may become Trump Democrats in 2016.
No way are the Democrat going to be able to tar Trump with the Fox News brush this time around and the fact that he is publicly feuding with Fox may actually make it easier for the 2016 Trump Democrats to throw their support to Trump and vote for him in 2016
