Since Donald Trump does not have a race card or a victim card, he's using our feelings about War Veterans. Sad really.
Smart move, helping the Veterans on that very day and time (not the day before nor the day after) keeps the heat off of him. Sort of like Palestinians hiding in a school while lobbing bombs at Israel.
money is fungible.
it may not be a perfect way to support cause but it is the best that the real world allows.
