Michelle Obama has revealed her husband 'barely got his work done' and instead 'fooled around' during high school.
The First Lady urged college pupils to work hard citing it was 'never too late' to do well as she opened up about Barack Obama's past in a candid interview.
She also revealed she got better grades than the U.S. President.
Speaking on The Real Daytime talk show, she said: 'Barack fooled around in high school. He's said it, he didn't take school seriously.
'He barely got his work done. He was a bum.'
The President, who majored in political science, worked in law for 12 years before being inaugurated in 2009. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize the same year.
His wife's comments came as he announced a ban on solitary confinement for juveniles in prison.
The decision, which will affect around 10,000 inmates, will also protect prisoners who commit 'low-level infractions'.
The President said he made the change due to the heartbreaking and lasting psychological consequences of the punishment.
Obama became the first president to visit a federal prison in July. He is focusing on reforming the criminal justice system in his last term.

There have been a lot of successful, great Americans who were no good in high school, use drugs or alcohol, had run-ins with the law, or other personal failings or pecciadillos.
But those things don’t make someone inherently bad, unsuitable for great service to the country. The military has always had people who had plenty of problems, but found a way to be patriots.
Being a communist, socialist, Alinskyite, racist jackass as an adult does make you unsuitable to hold office or attain status as a patriot or even be successful...or if it doesn’t, it should.

The little secret is that Ivy Leagues schools are easy. Getting in is hard, for the melanin challenged anyway, but once in they really hold your hand and make it easy. It ain’t like the university weed out system.

Aren’t Michelle and Barack Obama America’s First Couple WILLFULLY IGNORING America’s expanding and shameful *National Epidemic of Childhood Abuse and Neglect, aka Poverty*, that for more than thirty years has OPPRESSED and deprived countless American children from experiencing a safe, fairly happy life that Mr. Obama’s new friend and victim of horrific Childhood Abuse and GUN VIOLENCE Kendrick Lamar laments he, his siblings and numerous cousins were deprived of enjoying by their “living wild” violent felon embracing family and community members?
I’m guessing Mr. Obama has yet to figure out that Child Abuse and Neglect suffered by a substantial population of depressed American children maturing into depressed, frustrated, angry, sometimes suicidal *(NY Times May 18, 2015 - Rise in Suicide by Black Children Surprises Researchers)* teens and adults is the reason why many music performers have for more than thirty years characterized our moms, sisters, grandmas, daughters, aunts and nieces as ^itches and ^hores.
Isn’t Michelle Obama the FLOTUS who proclaims her love and adulation for an American music performer who married an admitted Brooklyn drug dealer who never DENOUNCED his ‘people and community’ harming anti-social lifestyle, though Mr. Carter continues promoting and profiting from the Gangsta lifestyle that devastated the lives of many struggling and peaceful Brooklyn, NY residents?
This is the same Michelle and Barack Obama, correct?
