Despite his ongoing feud with Fox News, Donald Trump honored a previous promise and appeared on The Factor tonight.
Bill O'Reilly tried a variety of tactics to convince Trump to participate in Fox's GOP debate tomorrow night. Nothing was working, so O'Reilly played his trump card, citing Christianity: "the tenet of forgiveness . . . don't you think that's the right thing to do?" Shot back Trump: "it probably is. But it's called an eye for an eye I guess also."

Cruz is just another phony DC insider Prop !
Fox could just as well do the Christian thing and apologize to Trump....but I prefer it this way. Trump wins Iowa and beats Fox News too.
Turning the other cheek does not mean what most think it means. IMO it means walk away. No way does it mean to stand there and get the crap beat out of you.
You bear false witness.
Way OUT OF CONTEXT... if he used it right.
Love Your Enemies 38"You have heard that it was said, 'AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.' 39"But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.⦠Matthew 5:38
“OâReilly is a turn the other cheek guy? Give me a break.
“
O’blowhard isn’t running for the nomination, is he?
Au contraire, Trump’s all about making deals, loves Pelosi, McConnell and does fundraisers for his good friend Harry Reid, so don’t worry about “turning the other cheek,” Trump’s all about that (for everyone but himself, of course.)
He better stop quoting the Bible...he is really showing his ignorance using that passage.
I doubt very many people know what’s in the Old or New Testaments.
They want the Repubs to tear each other apart like last time , so they can get Jeb or Hillary in there
These "holier than thou" replies are ridiculous. You can forgive someone, but you aren't required to interact with them. Do you follow this to the letter? Do you continuously 'forgive' someone who is maliciously attacking you and invite them over for dinner every Sunday? You should 'love' your enemy, but you are not required to associate with them or debate them.
They are competing on equal footing. It’s a debate.
The Money shot:
The punch line:
While Fox News may love the ratings Trump brings, Hahn believes Murdoch's views on immigration are influencing how the network covers the race.
They quote Breitbart . . .
Trump has shined a spotlight on one of Washington's best kept secrets: namely, Fox's role via its founder Rupert Murdoch in pushing an open borders agenda. The Trump campaign is a direct threat to Murdoch's efforts to open America's borders. Well-concealed from virtually all reporting on Fox's treatment of Trump is the fact that Murdoch is the co-chair of what is arguably one of the most powerful immigration lobbying firms in country, the Partnership for a New American Economy (PNAE).
Also quoting ABC News. . .
Murdoch, Australian born and a naturalized U.S. citizen, has become an outspoken advocate for immigration reform and mass legalization of the country's undocumented immigrants, partnering with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg [a PNAE backer] in this cause.
Ok, you are obviously a liar.
On Christmas eve Trump went to church in Florida and there were pictures taken. I saw them.
Lies won’t help Cruz.
“This past weekend was the first time Trump went to church since his 3rd marriage.”
A lie! Trump has been to churches many times. Mostly to appraise their locations for his new casinos and strip clubs so that his backpocket city politicians can issue eminent domain.
I caught that. I was impressed!!
Jesus also told us to not let other people use us as doormats.
Luke 22:36: Then said He unto them, âBut now, he that hath a purse, let him take it and likewise his pack; and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
Also see John 18:22-23 where Jesus defended himself from a Sanhedrin who slapped him. Jesus didn’t turn the other cheek, for sure.
First, I hardly think that reconsidering a televised debate performance rises to the level of “forgiveness”as espoused by Jesus.
Second, last time I checked Christians have not rejected the Old Testament. Nor did Jesus.
....Then he best come out and be honest and SAY I am not a Christian by definition of God’s Word , and use scripture to defend himself, as he did...I’d much rather he be HONEST about it rather than try and pander to the Evangelicals.
His ignorance in that area is really exposing him.
Here is the verse he used. Judge for yourself...
“You have heard that it was said, ‘AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH.’ 39”But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.”¦ Matthew 5:38
Exodus 21:
23”But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, 24eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.
Jesus wasn’t in much of a forgiving mood when he turned over the money changing tables at the Temple.
