Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, the spokesman of the refuge occupation, was shot and killed after he charged police during a roadside stop north of Burns on Tuesday, according to a man on Facebook who claims to be the driver of one of two vehicles involved in the highway shooting.
McConnell said he noticed movement, and Finicum "took off" in the pickup with the remaining passengers. He said Payne and Cox described encountering a police roadblock about a mile north on the highway and apparently tried to get around it, becoming stuck in the snow.
"When he exited the vehicle, the rear wheels were still spinning," McConnell said. "He charged at law enforcement" and was shot.

Exactly- no indications of any of this- and my goodness- none of the fbi had stun guns or mace? IF they were so damned scared of him, then why didn’t they open fire into the vehicles KNOWING that everyone in the vehicles was armed as well?

I'm not taking anybody's story as fact. It's way too early to draw conclusions. There will be an autopsy, and hopefully the family will be able to get a certified, independent person to conduct an autopsy, and give them the answers they need. Afterall, Michael Brown's family was allowed one. Hopefully the truth about what happened will be revealed at some point in the near future.
Well a LOT here are taking her story as fact.
He did not witness the shooting. Oddly, he was the only one, aside from the girl, not to be arrested.
There you are. I wanted to ping you. Some of the people present seem to be plants; not Victoria, I believe. If what she says is true, Lavoy being shot was an FBI execution in an ambush situation after leadership were lured to a trap on the route to meet the sheriff and others in town.

Because they arrested the people they had warrants for. If they stopped them on probable cause that there were targets of warrants in the vehicle, what would they arrest the driver and the 18 year old for?
Or is he a plant, a CI or undercover?
According to the Sharp girl, who was in the vehicle with LaVoy, they got gassed as well as shot at.

They were headed to a meeting in John Day which is outside that local area. They weren’t going to see the sheriff.
