According to them, Trump isn’t a conservative. Since I’ve seen dozens of his speeches and the debates and haven’t heard one thing I DON’T consider conservative, I have no idea what they’re talking about - but, then again, I’ve also been called a liberal for supporting him, so I guess I’m just not part of their uber-right-wing club or something. Whatever.

No, most people don’t think Trump is a traditional conservative. They support him because he is a leader, competent, and a winner. He also embraces issues they care about like jobs, immigration, security, and trade. The GOP needs to win in 2016 at all costs doing whatever is necessary to win. We need a street fighter who fights like the Dems.
