FYI, Cruz has been an American citizen since the day he was born. He was never “naturalized.” And he’s not an illegal immigrant. Therefore he’s a common naturalized citizen.

Although Cruz is an American citizen, he is not a natural born American citizen & therefore can not be president. He was a Canadian citizen up until 15 months ago...when he decided to renounce it.
