The undecided were watching. It will not go unnoticed at the Iowa caucus.
I think Cruz was great tonight! He stumbled coming out the gate, but got stronger and stronger as the night when on, IMO. He slaughtered the other candidates and the mods on the gang of 8 pile on. It was obvious FOX’s goal was to take him out. They tried to steer EVERYONE INTO ATTACKING Cruz and even made their own attacks as part of their questions.
Rubio is obnoxious, dishonest, and smarmy. I can’t stand him. It was obvious that FOX was trying to build him up tonight though (while tearing Cruz down). For example, “Everyone hates you, Mr. Cruz, so how can you win?” Mr. Rubio, Rush Limbaugh has called you the GOP, savior and Time magazine says you will be President some day, so why are you behind in the polls?”
Kasich, Bush, Christie, and Paul did nothing to break out tonight. They were all boring. With the exception of when Christie spun it and went after Hillary when the moderator set him up to attack Cruz.
I liked Carson’s closing statement, but Cruz’s closing statement was best. It was EXCELLENT.
I despise Chris Wallace. Tonight was a reminder of why I rarely watch FOX anymore.
Cruz and Trump won the night, IMO. Trump by refusing to participate, and Cruz running the table against a stacked deck.
