Chaos has descended upon Iowaâs capital city hours before the final 2016 GOP presidential primary debate before Iowans head to the caucuses on Mondayâwhich will be moderated by the Fox News Channel.
Because of the networkâs antics aimed at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, Trump has decided to abandon the networkâs debate. Every pre-set narrative from the mainstream media has been destructed as Trump dukes it out with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% , another anti-establishment force who is set to appear in the debate. And every single one of the establishment-backed GOP presidential candidates, from Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% to his former mentor Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, canât get anywhere close to first-place Trumpâs or second-place Cruzâs level of support.
Meanwhile, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorumâthe winners, respectively, of the 2008 and 2012 Iowa caucuses and both thorns in the side of the political establishmentâplan to support Trump at his event across town at Drake University. Huckabeeâs and Santorumâs move is surely going to infuriate their former employer, the Fox News Channel, as Roger Ailesâthe networkâs chief executiveâscrambles to clot the bleeding Trump has inflicted upon his previously invincible network.
Less than an hour before the undercard debate featuring several of the lower-polling candidates, and less than three hours before Foxâs main stage debate will feature Cruz, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) 94% , and the establishment candidates, chaos rules the night as reporters, GOP operatives, and more buzz about only one candidate: Donald Trump.

Big time!
I’m doing something I’ve never done before, except for special events...watching Anderson Cooper on CNN.
I watched Erin Burnett but Cooper is a bridge to far.

Trump!...You Magnificent Bastard!
[[Trump, who isnât even going to the debate, is dominating all discussions of itâmeaning basically heâs winning with none of the risk brought on by opening himself up to attack]]
Lol people said he was dumb for doing what he did.
The best negotiators know when to negotiate and how to control those negotiations.
This is something few Republicans actually know how to do.
It is why you see them cave so much , they negotiate by caving into demands instead of controlling the situation.
When the media acts like a terrorist , treat them like one.
He just cost Fox a lot of money.
The caucuses will be moderated by the Fox News Channel?
I had no idea.
Yes! For all the scheming they were doing, it comes back to bite ‘em and show anyone who cares to know the truth, exactly who they are and where they stand.
They are not FOR us, they are for themselves and their circle of elite freaks.
I hate Hillary. Everything else can be sorted out.
I remember another "magnificent bastard" a lot of people around here used to be all gaga about.
It is a matter of perspective. I was a Trump supporter as eiher my first or second choice. Cruz was the other candidate I supported.
The fact is, after observing the schizophrenic behavior of Donald Trump over the past several months, I suddenly realized I was tired of making excuses for his boorishness, his lack of gentlemanly manner, his selfish ego.
He is no longer a person I could ever support. How would the country survive such a volcanic personality in the White House? Pettiness is something we have endured over the past 7 years and it has grown thin.
I cannot imagine why anyone would want to inflict another narcissistic person [like Barack Obama] upon the country for four more years.
I agree. While some people find Trump exciting, I find him exhausting. His volatility is not Presidential.
Bill Buckley's comment on RFK's refusal to debate is apropos.
You prefer a maniacal muslim ...Trump does not need to do this...he can sit back with his family and watch the world burn if he chose too!....think about that for a minute.
No, they ‘get paid’ for Trump to stay there...
