He has a lot of rapport with the audience, there's a lot of give and take. It's fascinating to watch ... not a speech, more like a visit.
I think some are put off by his NYC blue-collar bravado. Cracks me up when he says, “What?”. Sounds like some of the folks I grew up with in NY. Too funny.
