I predict that someone with a nationwide microphone will put out a time line finally putting that poison pill nonsense to bed, and Cruz, up until very lately, did call for amnesty. He may not have called it that — he called it legalization— but that was what it is.

Mean while, ANYONE with access to google can do it.

You’re not being truthful.

Go to the LINK in post #1.

It’s all there in black and white.

“NO pathway to CITIZENSHIP.”

“illegals are permanently ineligible to become naturalized citizens of the United States”

Period.

Consistent.

Correct. Cruz supported legalization, which is amnesty.

No, legalization is not the same.

And up until at least June of this year, Trump was calling for the legalization of the “good” illegals, and even now his plan is to let the biggest percentage of them back in on an “expedited” basis (if he ever actually deported them, which I doubt). One big difference is that Cruz has always held the position that anyone who entered the country illegally could not become a citizen now or in the future. There was and is no such restriction on Trump’s position.
