The Obama administration plans to require large employers to peel back the curtain on how much they pay men and women in a push to narrow long-standing earning gaps between the genders. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission will roll out details of the plan Friday to begin gathering a summary of pay data from employers with 100 or more workers. The data will be used to identify employers that may be engaging in pay discrimination so that the agency can target its enforcement resources where problems may be likeliest to exist. The proposal would cover more than 63 million U.S. workers, according to the White House.

Dems are worried about why teachers and engineers don’t make the same salaries. Why homosexuals can’t marry each other. Why cross-dressers can’t use the women’s room.

This is ridiculous. Their salary structure is a business competitiveness issue.
Why not ask them to reveal their trade secrets?

First of all, the employers are identifying themselves under duress. There is no effort undertaken by PC bureaucrats, merely paper shuffling.
Second, differences in pay are not automatically discrimination. Compensation packages are as different as grains of sand on a beach.
Third, what are 'enforcement resources?' Merely the usual threatening letters and army of do-nothing lawyers. Nothing is litigated since Uncle Sam will always outspend the opposition.
Likeliest to exist? The horses have already been led to water - or what is claimed to be water.
More unconstitutional federal interference and coercion.
States: NULLIFY unconstitutional federal acts which by definition are acts of tyranny. America, don’t acquiesce to tyranny!!!!
When will the states and the people of the states recognize that the greatest threat BY FAR to their well being, freedom, and peaceful way of life is the UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
And when will Obama be impeached and removed for blatantly and repeatedly ignoring and violating his oath of office to “preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution?
They are wanting to push the removal of he and she off of labor forms... yet they want to keep track and penalize businesses that are not hiring enough women or men?

Link isn’t working for me. I assume they only want the report based on gender and not job/gender. For example, the Ds wouldn’t want a hospital to report
* male cardiologist $X, female cardiologist $Y
* male nurse $A, female nurse $B
...
They want
* male $HIGH, female $LOW
Simply change sex syatus on all forms to transgender and done.
Since we’re not allowed to ask THAT question, who are we to say different.
Add that since “gender” is a matter of feeling, not biology, it can be transient.

Good! I think all the companies that financed Obama and the DNC should be mandated under compulsion of the federal government to do this. Then I think these companies should be forced to expose all their patented technology and show how many women worked on what.

What difference will any of this make. The libs are actively blurring the sexes anyway. Where will transgendered ones appear?
What if a genetically male employee “identifies” as a woman? How do you report that to Uncle Sugar?

Why? Any company that pays women less than men for doing the same job has its head up its ass anyway.
