Ted Cruz was NOT naturalized, he was born a US citizen by law, end of story.
Maybe that is your end of the story. I have not said Cruz was not a citizen at birth. But he will never be a ‘natural born’ citizen... Reality can be really hard to accept for some.
Once again ‘natural born’ citizenship comes from two citizens of the US, birth of child on US soil. Canada has never been US soil, and Cruz’s father did not become a US citizen until 2005.
Cruz knows full he is not natural born. Have you heard him say it.. I am a natural born citizen. Let alone explain, how being born in Canada gives him natural born citizenship.
So much for the claim that conservatives follow the ‘original intent’ of the Constitution!
