As to CRUZ If you are born a citizen as he was by virtue of his mother being a US Citizen over the age of 21, the place of his birth and nationality of his father BEING COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT under the citizenship law at the time, you are NATURAL BORN. Natural born and naturalized, two categories of citizen, that is all. All these other stupid theories were made up on the Internet recently and have no basis in the text of the constitution or reality but only in a desire to disqualify someone they don’t want to win even those he oozes Americanism in contrasts to the original birther target, B Obama, to whom this garbage should have been confined.

As I say, Rubio might be. I don’t know the particulars related to his parents. They weren’t citizens until 4 years after his birth. There were policy’s in place for expedited status for Cubans. I haven’t seen anything indicating they availed themselves to the program, or if they even had intentions of staying. Not sure about his father, his mother returned to Cuba often.
