They’re public records. If someone is playing Big Brother it’s whoever passed the law making the records public.

These are clearly people not likely to vote. Every tactic has probably already been tried to motivate them. So this is a last-resort effort. It might be the only motivation they understand to actually get involved and stop the liberal takeover of America.

If someone is too lazy to vote I would assume that they are liberals and shouldn't be encouraged to vote anyway. Either way this is absolutely obnoxious and will not accomplish anything other than pissing people off.

It’s their right to refuse to vote. Granted, this is a source from which to mine votes...but holy cow use a little more sugar and less vinegar. Seriously, you rate them as”f” how do you think they will respond? Adults generally don’t care for report cards.

Or they choose not to participate in the caucasus.. Either way, isn't it ultimately up to the voter to decide if they wish to vote, or are you advocating mandatory voting?

Your out of your mind, if you think this sort of tactic is justifiable!

I guarantee that you CANNOT obtain voter records w/o validating a very good reason, and getting it notarized by the County Clerk. That office is where such records are typically kept - I know this for reason of being the Republican chairman of my county! You CANNOT legally obtain voter records for this purpose!

Yes, the records are public and no laws have been broken. But, with this mailing, I believe Cruz and his team of highly-paid advisors have demonstrated a total lack of understanding of basic human nature. Regardless of who the candidate is, it is breath-taking in its lack of foresight.

Although much citizen personal information seems to be “public” today, I suspect most citizens would not react positively to having any kind of information about them mailed to their neighbors. Net result= Negative.

If the goal is to get someone to vote for your opponent, this would be a brilliant move.

Again, regardless of who the candidate is, this is just sad. If it was the bright idea of the paid advisers, they need to return their paychecks to the candidate!

You're correct that it's legal if in fact it was the Cruz campaign that did it. But if it's a "false flag" operation trying to embarrass Cruz, that's different. The voting records are easy to get in my state (Colorado).

Jedi: :You seem to be the only poster so far who gets the damning revelation that these mailers tell, i.e. that the reason we got Obama in 2012 was that too many conservatives and other sane people sat out the election.

I know that Romney was a weak sister but compared to Obama, he was a Sampson.

If you vote, and our enemies do in sufficient numbers, they win, just as they did in 2012.

Lesson learned: Get off your lazy asses, register and vote as if your life and your country depend on it, because this time they due, and we may never get a another chance to undo what the Marxist in Chief has done to us.
