I take what they say about each other with a grain of salt. EVERY politico has to deal with his/her past. No one really knows if what is said is true or false. Also, context is never admissable or explained.
Trump wouldn't be where he is today without stepping on MANY toes. He never committed a felony and he is a native-born American, so ... what's the beef?
I would be VERY skeptical if ANY one of those politicos were spic and span. It's a contradiction of terms. Dirty business for the dubiuous honor of serving.
When I was young and idealist I had THOUGHT seriously about running for local office. It didn't take much to convince me to stand down and live my own private life.
I think both Cruz and Trump are decent POTUS material and I really don't care which man wins.
