Senator Ted Cruz has earned the endorsement of the largest Tea Party group in America. The Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund announced today they are backing the senator from Texas for President.
“We seek a candidate who shares our values: personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future,” said Chairman Jenny Beth Martin in a press release. “I am proud to announce our endorsement for president of the United States: Senator Ted Cruz!”
There were a number of steps for each candidate to be considered for the endorsement. Candidates filled out a questionnaire, were interviewed, underwent vetting by opposition research, and finally Tea Party Patriots held an endorsement primary in which voters were allowed to voice their preference for the endorsement.
The press release contained quotes from various Tea Party leaders across the country:
“I was asked a few weeks ago ‘what makes a great president?’ I want our next president to have clear, easily identifiable, conservative principles, which he has lived with for his entire life. I want our next president to be able to clearly communicate his principles to America. I want our next president to have an understanding of the ‘levers of government.’ He should demonstrate a history of creative, constitutional, and effective solutions that have furthered his principles; and I want to be assured that he will continue to do exactly what he said he would do. And finally, I want our next president’s actions and principles to be guided by a spiritual moral compass. I think that man is the man I voted for in this endorsement process; Senator Ted Cruz.” – Frank Racz, Fayetteville, NC

Members of Tea Party Patriots have pledged to vote en bloc for the candidate who received their endorsement to ensure that he or she would have the greatest opportunity to win the Republican nomination.
Mr. Cruz will need this kind of consolidated support to win what will be a contested Iowa caucus on Monday.

Along with the sorry voting record of some of their endorsements, they’re rapidly becoming a bunch of self-endorsers.
This ‘Tea Party is stupid, fat, and ugly. They’re bad people. They’re not real conservatives.

question away. we’re just posting links to a pic that ALREADY EXISTS ONLINE, AND the pic was taken and sent in TO BE PUBLISHED ONLINE by the person who received the mailer so the whole world could see what Cruz was doing in Iowa. We’re simply helping the original owner of the pic to receive the publicity they desire.
The claim could be made without revealing the names of people.
That isn’t done. You offer no defense so I will speculate as to why.
I think the reason it is done is because the Plutocratic lords like Trump are above the ethics they promote for the rest of us.
Its ok to publish photos of the letter because you all are not simply better than cruz— you are better than all mere citizens.

I don’t think we know the full story about this mailer. This is dumber than dumb. It looks to me like sabotage by a Trump plant inside the Cruz campaign.
Mark Levin and Thomas Sowell are brilliant and articulate spokesmen for the conservative cause. You’re not going to push either of them in the mud here without a challange. They see Trump for who he is and aren’t afraid to ring the warning bell.
Levin threw himself into the mud .. he didn’t have, nor need any help .. I don’t recall saying anything about Sowell , but if he trashed Trump ,then he is also wrong .
