Wayne Madsen of the Wayne Madsen report had a rather strange story about this. Evidently the guy Rubio was arrested with later went on to become some sort of gay porn kingpin in Miami and still going at it today. Is it true? I dunno. Lots of weirdness out there.

That fits more with the Rubio vibe than some sort of almost-went-gang story does.
